Applications are invited for filling up of 2249 Posts (UR: 1136, OBC: 608, SC: 341, ST: 164) in Pay Band‐I of Rs.5200‐20200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1800/‐ from OPEN MARKET for its Division(s) and Workshop(s).


SYLLABUS & EXAMINATION:

Question paper for the Written Test shall be of Class 10th standard, consisting of 150 multiple‐choice (four) objective type questions, mainly aimed to assess general knowledge / awareness, mathematics, general science and reasoning etc. Question paper shall be printed in Hindi, English, Urdu, Marathi and Gujarati only. The duration of Written Test shall be 2 (two) hours. Negative marking shall prevail.

of written examination, physical efficiency test, medical examination and Documents Verification shall be fixed by the RRC‐WR and intimated to eligible candidates by Business Post. Examination schedule will be published on Website and News papers in due course.

Western Railway invites applications from eligible bonafide citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India in prescribed format only (to be downloaded from our website  mentioned above) for filling up of 2249 Posts (UR: 1136, OBC: 608, SC: 341, ST: 164) in Pay Band‐I of Rs.5200‐20200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1800/‐    from OPEN MARKET for its Division(s) and Workshop(s). Vacancies notified are indicative and subject to        upward/downward revision. Posts to be filled up also include reservation for Persons with Disabilities. The downloaded application from our website with its unique registration number   may be sent by ordinary post to Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway, Parcel Depot, Alibhai Premji Road, Grant Road, Mumbai‐400 007 or dropped in the Application Box kept in the RRC office, upto 17.00 hrs. of the closing date of 24.11.2012 till 1700 hrs (Additional 15 days time ie till 07.12.12: 1700 hrs is    for candidates from Andaman and Nicobar Islnds, Lakshwadeep Islands, North Eastern States, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti district  and Panji sub division of  Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh.). A Competitive examination for recruitment to the post of GRADUATE EXECUTIVE TRAINEES (GET) in RITES will be held on 25.11.2012 at the centres indicated in para 3 below.

How to apply:
Interested Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are required to apply online using the link http://www.rites.com All candidates should procure Demand Draft of requisite value before attempting to apply on line.

On submission of valid application online, the system will generate ‘Registration Slip’ with Registration no., which has to be downloaded, signed, photograph affixed and sent the same along with demand draft of requisite fees drawn in favour of ‘RITES LIMITED’ payable at Gurgaon through ordinary post only in an envelope superscribed with  VC No. and

THSTI has set up niche centres of research in a number of interface areas relevant to translational research namely, Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Center (VIDRC), Pediatric Biology Center (PBC) and Centre for Biodesign (CBD).  
Vaccine and Infectious Disease Research Center (VIDRC) has a mission to study infectious disease and pathogens and understand host-pathogen interactions at the molecular and cellular level with an aim to generate translational knowledge for developing prophylactic and therapeutic measures against diseases prevalent in India.    
Pediatric Biology Center (PBC) will conduct hypothesis driven research on the biological basis of childhood health and diseases. The generated knowledge will be incorporated in THSTI institutional networks developing diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. 
Centre for Bio design (CBD) will promote strategic basic research and an effective translational route of science into development of novel technology platforms, implants, devices, diagnostics and imaging. It will support a multidisciplinary approach of combining novel technological concepts and clinical expertise.

The applications can be either deposited in person at Diary section, Safdarjang Hospital or should be sent by ordinary/registered post addressed  to the Medical Superintendent , VMMC & Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi. 
The application containing the application form must be superscribed in bold letters Name of  the post applied for. 
Applications which are not in the prescribed format will be rejected. 
Applications complete in all respects and alongwith attested copies of the testimonials must reach to the Safdarjang Hospital within 21 days (3 weeks) from the date of advertisement.  Age will be reckoned from the closing date of advertisement. 
The candidates should have the requisite academic qualification from a recognized institution for the post applied for at the time of application itself. 
If a candidate produces false documents, he/she  will not only be disqualified/dismissed from services, if already appointed but may also be liable for criminal proceedings. 
NOC in the form of undertaking from the employer to the effect that in  case of selection, the department will spare the candidate for joining service in the Hospital should be attached with the application. 
Candidates trying to use any influence or adopt any unfair means would be disqualified from the selection. 
Failure to comply with any of the instructions contained in this notification may entail rejection of candidature. 
In case, the number of applications received is large, the experience/qualification can be raised by the Competent Authority.

BPCL is looking for young, energetic, ambitious Graduate Engineers in the field of “Mechanical Engineering” for the post of “Management Trainee”. Mechanical Engineers desirous of pursuing a career with BPCL are required to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2013).
For detailed information on GATE-2013, interested candidates may log on to www.gate.iitb.ac.in or any of the websites of other IITs (Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Online applications for GATE-2013 commenced from 1st September 2012 and closes on 30th September 2012.
General Instructions:
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply. 
Candidates must have an active e-mail id, which must remain valid for at least next one year. All future communication with the candidates will take place through e-mail only. 
Candidates should have relevant documents like  percentage  of  marks  obtained  in the degree examination, degree certificate, date of birth, caste/disability certificate (if applicable), e-mail id etc. readily available with them before they commence the ONLINE application process. HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates who wish to apply for the post of “Management Trainee” in BPCL will be required to take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – 2013 (GATE-2013) in Mechanical Engineering discipline (Corresponding GATE 2013 Paper code for Mechanical Engineering discipline is ME).
GATE 2013 is scheduled on 10th February 2013 (Sunday) for the Mechanical Engineering discipline.

Candidates need to apply / register ONLINE for GATE-2013 through any of the websites mentioned above from 1st September 2012 to 30th September 2012. Application process for GATE-2013 is entirely ONLINE.
Candidates will require their GATE-2013 Registration Number for applying to BPCL. The registration number will appear on the GATE-2013 admit card of the candidates. The admit card can only be downloaded from the zonal GATE websites of IISc and 7 IITs. No other number (for eg. GATE-2013 Application / online form no. etc) should be entered as GATE-2013 registration number while applying to BPCL.
On downloading the GATE-2013 admit card and receipt of GATE registration number, candidates need to apply online on BPCL’s website. The relevant link will be made available from 5th December 2012 on BPCL’s career website i.e www.bpclcareers.in.
Candidates should click on the ONLINE application link, read the instructions carefully and fill-in the ONLINE application form giving accurate information including the GATE-2013 registration number.  
Candidates must enter the same name as they have entered while  applying to GATE-2013. (For example, if the candidate has entered Navin Kumar Singh in the ONLINE  GATE  application,  he  must  enter  Navin  Kumar  Singh  (exactly same spelling) while applying to BPCL. He must not enter N K Singh or Navin K Singh etc. while applying to BPCL).  
Upon completion, the candidate should submit the online application by  clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the page. If the same is accepted, the system will generate a unique application ID along with the completed application form.  
Candidate should take a print out of completed application, affix his/her recent passport size photograph, sign at the space provided and keep with him/ her safely for future reference. (The same will be required to be submitted, in case shortlisted for further selection process.) 
The  passport  size  photograph  affixed  by  the  candidate  should  be the same submitted along with GATE-2013 application form and admit card.  If  the candidate is called for further selection process, his/ her identity would be verified with GATE-2013 admit card and GATE-2013 official score card.  
9th February 2013 is the last date for submitting the ONLINE application for BPCL.
