GAIL is looking for committed, vibrant and passionate young Graduate engineers desirous of joining GAIL as Executive Trainee in 2013 in the disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Chemical through GATE-2013
How to apply
GAIL will be utilizing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering-2013 scores (GATE 2013-scores) for recruitment of Executive Trainees in the above disciplines during the year 2013
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the position of Executive Trainee in the above discipline in GAIL will be required to first apply for appearing in GATE-2013 and thereafter appear in GATE-2013 as per instructions and timelines notified by GATE-2013 organizing institute in one of the following relevant GATE examination papers
Mechanical Engineering (ME); Electrical Engineering (EE); Instrumentation Engineering (IN); Chemical Engineering (CH)
List of disciplines / branches considered equivalent to each of the above 04 disciplines advertised is given in the detailed advertisement, which can be viewed by visiting career section of GAIL website www.gailonline.com
Based on the GATE-2013 score and requirement, candidates will be short listed for group discussion and/or personal interview for the position of Executive Trainees in the above disciplines
Candidates will have to separately apply online in GAIL indicating their GATE-2013 registration number for which GAIL website www.gailonline.com will be activated on 06th December, 2012

GAIL (India) Limited is the largest state-owned natural gas processing and distribution company headquartered in New Delhi, India.It has six segments: Transmission services of natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Natural gas trading, petrochemicals, LPG and Liquid hydrocarbons, GAILTEL and Others. The company was previously known as Gas Authority of India Ltd. It is India's principal gas transmission and marketing company. It was set up by the Government of India in August 1984 to create gas sector infrastructure. GAIL commissioned the 2,800 kilometres (1,700 mi) Hazira-Vijaipur-Jagdishpur (HVJ) pipeline in 1991. Between 1991-93, three liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plants were constructed and some regional pipelines acquired, enabling GAIL to begin its gas transportation in various parts of India.
