Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up 752 vacant posts of Constable (Driver) in Delhi Police under the following categories in the pay scale of PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.2000/- & other allowances as admissible:

Recruitment will be held at Delhi
Age limit as on 1st January 2012
21 to 30 years as on 1st January 2012 relaxable upto:-
i) 35 years for SC/ST and departmental candidates
ii) 33 years for OBC candidates
iii) Ex-Servicemen as per rules

Educational and other qualification:
i) 10th Pass
ii) Should be able to drive heavy vehicle with confidence
iii) Valid HTV driving licence for driving heavy motor vehicles.
iv) Should possess knowledge of maintenance of vehicles.

Physical Standard:Height: Minimum 170 cms. Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas & ST candidates.Chest: Minimum 81 cms to 85 cms (with minimum of 4 cms expansion).Relaxable by 5 cms for residents of hill areas & ST candidates.
