Admission Notification 2012-2013
Applications are invited for admission to the following courses for the session 2012-13:
1) Master of Travel & Tourism Management (MTTM) 2-Yr.
2) Master of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (MHM &CT) 2-Yr
Eligibility: Bachelor Degree with 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST) 
Date of Entrance Test : 01.07.2012 at 10.30 a.m.
3) Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (BHM & CT) 4-Yr
Eligibility: Sr. Sec. Cert.Exam. (10+2)
4) Bachelor in International Hospitality Business Management (BIHBM) 4-Yr. 
Eligibility: Sr. Sec. Cert. Exam. (10+2)
Admission on the basis of merit of 10+2 exam.
Prospectus (Code No.THM-12) containing Application Form, and admission guidelines can be obtained from Manager (P&P), KUK on cash payment of Rs.400/- (Rs.100/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana). If required by Regd. Post, send a DD of Rs.450/- (Rs.150/- for SC/BC\ candidates of Haryana) in favour of the Registrar, KUK. Prospectus can be downloaded from Website: www.kuk.ac.in such Form must be accompanied with DD of the price. Last date for receipt of Application Form in the office of Chairperson, Department of Tourism & Hotel Management, KUK for MTTM/MHM&CT is 20.06.2012 and for BHM&CT/BIHBM is 30.06.2012. Kurukshetra University was established on 11 January, 1957 in Kurukshetra in Haryana, India. It is a member of Association of Commonwealth Universities. The university was the dream of the then Punjab governor, Sir Chandeshwar Prasad Narayan Singh, a Sanskrit scholar, who wanted to set up an institute to promote Indian culture and traditions. The Department of Sanskrit was the first and the only department in the university when it was inaugurated by India's first president, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Its campus is spread over 400 acres (1.6 km2).
